The former Liverpool and England player Michael Owen took to twitter on Tuesday to outline that people are getting carried away with assists in the game. Comparing them to goals, former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas spotted this and made it quite clear where he stands on the matter, see it below;

Would you agree with Michael Owen are people losing the run of themselves when it comes to assisting a goal, surely there’s a serious skill to that too though as well as finishing. Michael Owen and Cesc Fabregas both achieved a lot in the game, so when they talk you certainly listen.
