The former Offaly hurler Michael Duignan took to his twitter again to give out about Sky Sports covering the GAA and matches being behind a pay per wall. Wexford vs Dublin in the Leinster hurling Championship was on Sky Sports yesterday and of course you had to pay to watch this match, if you were living in Ireland.
“Before I tweet this I want no relies saying it’s because I work for RTE! I’m saying it from the start. That game should be free to air. Totally wrong that so many of our volunteers, older members & young players didn’t get to see that because of a pay wall. It’s just not right.”

Does the Sky money not go back into the game and Sky’s coverage gets Hurling out to a wider audience? The bigger picture lad.
