It’s clear to see that Michael Chandler doesn’t think Conor McGregor will ever fight again.
The Irishman was due to make his eagerly anticipated return to the Octagon last month before a toe injury ruled him out of his contest with Chandler.
It’s now been over three years since McGregor entered the cage when he took on Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight suffering a broken leg.
It remains unclear exactly when ‘The Notorious’ will fight again and Chandler may have finally given up on the ‘red panty night’ that he has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for.
Asked on X formerly Twitter he responded to fan that had asked him what his strategy would be against the former UFC double-champ.
He responded: ‘Instill fear…let him pull out of the fight and embarrass himself, be known as the guy who retired McGregor without ever throwing a punch….’

And Chandler is now eyeing up a fight with Nate Diaz who claimed a win over Jorge Masvidal under boxing rules at the weekend.
Sit down, Ron… better idea – me and @NateDiaz209 fight like real men, while Conor sits on a yacht and watches on PPV in his slippers. #ufcnoche #riyadhseason https://t.co/VKR7MFAdg2
