There has been a lot of speculation that the fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler is off.
The UFC’s announcement that the opening press conference in Dublin was cancelled on Monday set social media on fire.
With many fans and pundits in the sport claiming that one of the fighters are injured and out of the main event of UFC 303.
But Michael Chandler appeared to put those rumours to bed for now at least when he appeared on The Pivot Podcast.

He said: “Where we are right now, there’s a lot of speculation but the fight is on. June 29th, it’s happening.”

Conor McGregor is set to make his eagerly anticipated return to the Octagon for the first time since his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier of 2021 when he suffered a leg injury.
