Micah Richards revealed his hidden talent of translating Italian after listening to Romelu Lukaku’s post-match interview for Inter Milan.
The Belgian striker spoke to the media following his winning goal for Inter Milan yesterday evening against Porto and Richards was tasked by fellow studio members Kate Abdo, Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry to translate the player’s interview and he duly obliged.
Richards will have had some experience with the language after spending a year in Italy with Fiorentina and the 34-year old tried his best to fulfill his co-presenters’ desires.

“Passion, joy, anger. What was in that shot and goal? Truthfully, there was satisfaction, to win that game because it was truly important.”
Amid Richards’ attempts, Henry couldn’t resist a peek at his colleague’s notes, but Richards came through unscathed, saying: “I’m ready for the Serie A Show, now!”
