The former Arsenal and German midfielder Mesut Özil was watching England v Scotland last night and made reference to that Oscar winning movie Braveheart saying ‘William Wallace’s soul all over Wembley tonight’ I’m sure a lot of his English/Arsenal fans weren’t too happy with is gag.
England were awful last night, no doubt about it, but you have to give a lot of credit to the Scotts for the performance they put in and stopped the English in their tracks. Scotland take on Croatia on Tuesday in a massive game for them and they have given themselves a great chance of getting through to the next round of the Euros.
