Could there be trouble brewing at Paris Saint-Germain? Lionel Messi was visibly furious with Mauricio Pochettino after being substituted during his side’s clash with Lyon last night.
PSG were up against it in their tussle with Lyon, with Mauro Icardi eventually netting with one of the last kicks of the game in order to ensure the French giants would maintain their 100% start in Ligue 1.
With the Parisiens chasing a goal, you could be forgiven for thinking that Messi should remain on the pitch in order to be given the opportunity to make the difference on his full Parc des Princes debut.
Pochettino clearly didn’t think so, though, with the former Tottenham manager deciding to haul Messi off the field, a decision which clearly didn’t sit too well with the player himself.

Poch can ill afford to clash with Messi, it will likely spell the end of his time in charge in Paris. He has struggled to make any considerable improvements to the side as it is.
To make Messi disgruntled would be putting a bullet through his foot.
