A devastating earthquake struck South Eastern Turkey in the early hours of Monday morning, with countries across the world coming to the aid of the Middle Eastern nation.

Work continues to be done to help civilians in the nation, with Turkish defender and former Juventus player Merih Demiral teaming up with his ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to offer their support for the nation.

This afternoon, Demiral, who now represents Atalanta in Serie A, tweeted that he spoke to Ronaldo and the Portuguese’s signed Juventus shirt in the defender’s collection will be auctioned off, with all the proceeds going to the earthquake zone.

Demiral left the details for where people can go to participate in the auction, as over 2.3 million people have viewed the tweet in just under two hours, with 24-year old keen to help his country in its time of need.
