Manchester United have taken the lead over Burnley at Old Trafford through midfielder Scott McTominay.
With the Red Devils having underwhelmed last time out against Newcastle United, Ralf Rangnick not only needed a good result tonight but also a positive performance.
There has been a grey cloud lingering over Old Trafford for several months, with Rangnick’s appointment supposed to have resulted in blue skies on the horizon.
Man United fans are yet to see any sign of that with the German at the helm, but they are at least 1-0 up against Burnely tonight courtesy of Scott McTominay.

Mason Greenwood cut the ball back to Cristiano Ronaldo on the edge of the penalty area, with the Man United superstar taking an unintentionally heavy touch.
Thankfully for CR7, the ball landed in the path of teammate McTominay, who fired home into the back of the net to give his side an early advantage.
