Conor McGregor has shared a video of him working the pads as he steps up his return to full fighting sharpness.
McGregor has been out of the octagon ever since he suffered a nasty leg break in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier. The doctor stoppage dealt him his third loss in four fights, a torrid run of form for the Irishman.
He will want to do everything in his power to ensure that he is in mint condition when he does return to action, with another defeat likely to send his stock falling to depths that he hasn’t experienced for many a year.
What ought to be promising for McGregor fans is his sharpness while working the pads. McGregor’s boxing has always been an asset of his – and it doesn’t look to have deteriorated at all during his time rested up on a sun lounger.
