Conor McGregor has appeared to patch things up with Tyson Fury on social media in a now-deleted tweet.
McGregor and Fury have been locked in a furious feud on Twitter, with both fights aiming public digs at each other, and garnering plenty of fan interest along the way.
It’s safe to say that it had got pretty nasty, as it usually does with McGregor nowadays, but it’s the Irishman who appears to have offered the olive branch to the Gypsy King.
McGregor, in a now-deleted tweet, responded to a clip from an interview where Tyson praises the former two-weight UFC champion, saying:
“Conor McGregor is MMA, isn’t he? That’s it. I couldn’t name you three more fighters in MMA, I just couldn’t.”

It’s quite the U-turn from McGregor, considering how nasty their feud was getting, but fans of both men will be glad that they have now put their beef to bed – especially considering it was totally unnecessary to begin with.
We have to say, though, we’re surprised that it was Conor who has de-escalated the situation, especially following a small snippet from an old interview. It’s rather out of character, isn’t it?
