Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he considered early retirement from the French National Team.
Mbappe has been a hot topic of conversation over the past few days, having agreed to a tell-all interview with French media outlets such as L’Equipe.
Included in the interview was Mbappe discussing his future with the French National Team, said in wake of Les Blues’ premature exit from Euro 2020.
Mbappe appeared to suggest that he could prematurely retire, or at least take an extended break from, Didier Deschamps’ national side.

Mbappe needed to have arms thrown around him after what happened against Switzerland, but instead he had a tidal wave of criticism launched in his direction.
He speaks as though leaving the national team would be a good thing for them, but you wonder if it could actually be beneficial for him.
France are undeniably better WITH Mbappe in the team, but he doesn’t need to stick around if all he’s getting is abuse.
