We’re sad to report the deaths of Brian Mullin (31) from Kilmaine Co Mayo and Sharon Ryan (32) were both killed when the car they were traveling in collided with a van in the Patrickswell area of Limerick on Sunday night. Brian is a brother of Mayo footballer Oisin Mullin.

Brian Mullin & Sharon Ryan were said to have died at the scene following the horror collision which occurred at around 9.30pm.

The occupants of the van were a man and a woman in their 20s and an infant, were left minorly injured in the crash and were taken to hospital.

More deaths on Irish roads, this is extremely sad and our thoughts go out to the Mayo football Oisin Mullin who has lost his brother and of course to the rest of his family as this difficult time.
