The body of Róisín Cryan was recovered from the River Moy on Saturday morning.
A native of Attyrory, Carrick-on-Shannon who was living and working in Ballina, Róisín has been remembered among many tributes posted on
as ‘a beautiful person, inside and out,’ as ‘friendly and humble’ and a ‘beautiful soul’.Many have taken to express their condolences with Róisín’s family online as well as to share kind words regarding the “beautiful girl” she was.
In a tribute on Facebook, Shannon Gaels GAA wrote: “On behalf of the entire Shannon Gaels GAA community, we extend our deepest condolences to Joe and Marguerite, Conor, Annmarie, Clare, Ruth, Maeve and the Cryan family.
