Maybe it’s time to ‘DROP’ Trent Alexander-Arnold, says David James

The former English and Liverpool goalkeeper was talking SuperSport about the Liverpool right back with Sunderland legend Kevin Phillips. Trent gave away 38 balls yesterday against Southampton at St. Mary’s stadium the most of any player this season thus far.

Alexander-Arnold came in to the side at a very young age having a very successful first two/three seasons so far and the English keeper reckons that Trent could be burned out a small bit and that the FA cup break should be used as a chance to give the English youngster a break. David James reckons the calf injury that he picked up against Manchester City has put Trent back a small bit and needs more time to recover.

Liverpool are currently joint top with age old rivals Manchester United and funnily enough the two face each other in the next league game, should Liverpool drop the right back and give him a rest? surely Klopp knows best.
