Gary Lineker, the former footballer and current TV presenter, seemingly confirmed the romantic relationship between Maya Jama, a British TV host known for “Love Island,” and Ruben Dias, a Manchester City footballer.
After noticing Micah Richards, another pundit, playfully flirting with Jama on a broadcast Lineker appeared in the footage, saying: “Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us.”
Jama was clearly upset by Lineker’s unexpected revelation about her private life.
“Get out! This is why I don’t talk to old people. They’re so weird,” she exclaimed after the incident.
The relationship gained attention after the couple was spotted together in Ibiza and spent New Year’s Eve 2025 in Spain, marking a significant step forward, as reported by The Standard, following Jama’s high-profile split from Stormzy in July 2024.
