According to talkSPORT, Thomas Tuchel isn’t wasting time to change things up at Chelsea as the newly appointed manager has reportedly left Frank Lampard favourite – Mason Mount -out of his first team squad.
Tuchel was appointed as the new Chelsea boss only this week after club legend Frank Lampard was let go after 18 months in charge.
According to talkSPORT, The Sun are reporting that the new German manager will leave the young English playmaker out of his first team as he prepares to take on his first Premier League challenge in Wolves.
Mount looks likely to become the first casualty of Tuchel’s new reign at Stamford Bridge by being left out of tonight’s team to take on Wolves.
The decision could be tactical though as Mount has started the last ten games and may be in need of a much needed rest.
Thomas Tuchel officially became the new Chelsea manager after the 47-year-old was appointed following the departure of club legend Frank Lampard.
Chelsea confirmed that Tuchel would take charge of his first training session on Tuesday evening after he was cleared to enter the country after registering a negative Covid-19 test result.
