An eagle-eyed Instagram user has spotted Mario Balotelli appearing to take a subtle little dig at Brendan Rodgers.
Balotelli didn’t have the happiest of years at Anfield last season and seemed to share his unhappiness by liking a post that mocks Brendan Rodgers on Instagram.
A fan posted a picture of Rodgers’ ‘managerial honours’ on their Instagram page, listing the 42-year-old’s Championship playoff win with Swansea and leaving the Liverpool section blank except for “Once got Mario Balotelli to defend a corner: 2014”.
Balotelli then ‘liked’ the post, causing something of a stir on social media.
The owner of the page is definitely not a fan of Brendan Rodgers and has posted several other statuses showing his dislike of the current Liverpool manager.
Balotelli hasn’t liked any of these posts but was sure to of had a giggle if he saw them.
