Marcus Rashford was NOT HAPPY with the referee after controversial decisionšŸ˜¬

Marcus Rashford stated that he couldnā€™t understand why the referee didnā€™t give a foul after the striker was tripped up by Jules Kounde.

The Red Devils met Barcelona on Thursday night in a titanic clash usually reserved for the bright lights of the Champions League.

But although the game was played in a ā€˜lesserā€™ competition it produced just as much quality entertainment as any Tuesday night game this year.

The two teams battled out a 2-2 draw with the result seeming fair after the back-and-forth nature of the game.

Rashford continued his incredible form by getting on the scoresheet but was annoyed with one of the refereeā€™s decisions during the game.

The English forward found himself clean through on goal only to be fouled by Kounde just as he reached the box but the referee waved play on.

ā€œItā€™s a massive moment in the game,ā€ Rashford said.

ā€œTo be honest, Iā€™ve not watched it back, but in the moment, I donā€™t understand why the linesman or the referee thinks why Iā€™m going down there.

ā€œIā€™ve touched it, went past him, my foot is in front of the ball and he hits my leg. Itā€™s clear contact.

ā€œItā€™s not a penalty but itā€™s 100% a foul for me, but like Iā€™ve said, Iā€™ve not watched it back.ā€
