According to Metro, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has convinced club wonder-kid Shola Shoretire to ignore offers from some of Europe’s mega-clubs and to sign his first professional contract with United instead.

The 17-year-old winger who is currently at Manchester United had interest from European giants Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich and PSG.

Despite only being 17 Shoretire plays for United’s U23s and has already featured in a first-team training session with Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

The Daily Mail have reported that the Red Devils have agreed a new contract with Shoretire and the promising winger will put pen to paper on a long-term deal soon.

Shoretire apparently came to his decision having spoken with current Manchester United No.10 and academy graduate, Marcus Rashford.

The youngster has also reportedly spoken to Mason Greenwood, who is in his second season in the first team and both Rashford and Greenwood were instrumental in Shoretire committing himself to Old Trafford.
