Manchester City have reportedly rejected Manchester United’s request to give Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo a lift to the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

The 2024 Ballon d’Or awards take place on Monday and according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils asked City if Garnacho and Mainoo could join City’s eight-strong contingent of nominees on their private jet flight to Paris.

However, the Citizens reportedly said there was no room on the flight and alternative travel plans will have to be arranged.
