Manchester United wins the derby after DRAMATIC finish

Manchester United won the derby after a back-and-forth game at Old Trafford.

The game started cautiously with both teams, especially Manchester City scared to make any mistakes. This is how the first half continued slowly opening up as the clock ticked on.

Marcus Rashford had a great opportunity early on but was denied by Ederson.

It wasn’t until the second half where the game really caught fire. Pep Guardiola introduced Jack Grealish to freshen up his attack and it paid off immediately.

Just three minutes after coming on as a sub, the former Aston Villa man headed in a teasing Kevin De Bruyne cross at the back post.

This lit a flame under Manchester United, who began to launch more frequent counterattacks.

Then in the 78th minute, it paid off. Marcus Rashford was played in behind but knowing that he was offside left it for Bruno Fernandes who rifled the ball past Ederson.

Four minutes later they took the lead, a smart bit of dribbling from Garnacho gave him enough space to find a cross.

Rashford was waiting in the middle to pounce.
