BIG transfer news for Manchester United supporters – Christian Eriksen is heading to Old Trafford!
After Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020, many presumed that his career at the highest level was essentially finished, and with good reason, too.
However, Eriksen was intent on continuing and subsequently signed a short-term contract with Brentford in January. Few could have anticipated what an impact he’d make.
With Eriksen having produced one of the highest performance levels of his career during his six months with the Bees, the interest in securing his services began to intensify.
Manchester United are one side who have been credited with an interest for some time now, and according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, they’ve got their man!

It remains to be seen how Erik ten Hag will fit Eriksen into the Man United starting XI, with Bruno Fernandes usually occupying the number ten position behind the striker.
The opportunity to sign Eriksen on a free transfer was evidently a proposition that he, and the United upper brass, felt that they couldn’t pass up as they look to rebuild the squad.
Eriksen will be heading to Carrington in due course to undergo medical tests and sign his contract. What a signing this could prove to be for the Red Devils – a much-needed one!
