Manchester United have been a different animal since the Dutch manager took over in the summer. They got off to a rocky start but ever since they returned from the World Cup break they have been one of the in-form teams in the Premier League.

A massive part of this is the discipline which Ten Hag has instilled within the squad.
In a recent interview with The Times, Manchester United midfielder Fred revealed what the manager’s three rules are.

“He is a good coach and has helped us a lot. Now we have an identity to show to other teams,” the Brazilian midfielder told The Times.
“He has put rules [up] inside the dressing room — don’t be late, don’t do wrong things, always do what you can to help your partner — and that’s important. We are growing every day.”
