The BBC have made a major mistake on their ticker that runs along the bottom half of the screen. The BBC News have apologised for the message seen on their ticker during this morning’s news broadcast that read “Manchester United are rubbish.”
They have stated someone was training to learn how to use the ticker and were just “writing random things.”
In fairness to whoever wrote it, they’re not too wrong; given the size of Manchester United’s fan base and the money that goes into the Old Trafford club, they were ‘rubbish’ this season.
