The former Manchester United, now Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal was on Dutch TV this evening and the 68 year old admitted that he is battling cancer at this current moment.

“In each period during my time as manager of the National Team I had to leave in the night to go to the hospital without the players finding it out until now. While thinking I was healthy. But.. I am not.”
Louis van Gaal also confirms that it’s an agressive form of prostate cancer. He has been irradiated 25 times so far.
We send our best thoughts to him and his family with this awful sickness and wish he good luck with the Netherlands in Qatar this Christmas.
