Manchester United will have to travel to Anfield without their captain next week after Bruno Fernandes received a suspension for a yellow card.
It was a game to forget for United fans after their side were humbled by Bournemouth, losing 3-0 at Old Trafford.
It seemed like Erik ten Hag’s side were on an upward trajectory after their win against Chelsea on Wednesday night but the wheels completely fell off on Saturday.
The Dutch manager now has a daunting week ahead of him with a trip to Bayern Munich and Liverpool waiting for him.
But he will have to travel to Anfield without Fernandes who will be suspended after being booked for dissent during their loss to Bournemouth.
