Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong has become the latest player in the North West to have had his home invaded by a masked gang.
Chong, 22, is the fifth player to play for either Manchester United or Manchester City to have reported a break-in at their home to the police, with the parallels between each incident suggesting that this is the work of one, organised gang.
As is reported by The Sun, three men wearing balaclavas broke into Chong’s home at 3am in the morning. They held knives to his throat and demanded that he handed over valuable possessions.
The report notes that the invaders escaped with thousands of pounds worth of goods, having taken jewellery, watches and women’s designer bags from the property.
You can be certain that the most valuable thing Chong will have lost is his peace of mind, so our thoughts are with the poor bloke at this tough time and we dearly hope that the police are able to find those responsible – and fast.
