Following his move from Atletico Madrid in 2011, De Gea has spent 10-years at the heart of United’s defence.

However, after enjoying several hugely impressive campaigns which saw him widely regarded as the best shot-stopper on planet earth, De Gea has also endured large dips in form.

Seemingly struggling to rediscover his best form, the Spanish keeper now faces strong competition for the right to wear the club’s illustrious number-one jersey from back-up option Dean Henderson.

According to a recent report from 90min, Solskjaer is keen to see Henderson progress and become the club’s new first-choice keeper.

However, with suggestions that Henderson could be prompted, there is also speculation that De Gea could be set to make way.

Despite being the Red Devils’ highest earner, 90min claims the club are ready to listen to any serious offers for the Spanish keeper.

Although it has been acknowledged that United won’t actively sound out a buyer, nor will they push De Gea out of the club, Mauricio Pochettinho’s PSG has been strongly linked with a move.
