“The club is absolutely dead” – Manchester United branded “rotten” by furious supporter

Manchester United have been branded “absolutely dead” by a furious supporter in wake of their FA Cup exit on Friday night.

Ralf Rangnick fielded a strong side against the Championship outfit on home turf. It was expected to be a relatively routine night’s work for the Red Devils.

However, with the teams unable to be separated over 90 minutes, the contest headed into extra time, and later the dreaded penalty shootout.

Man United faltered in the 12-yard contest and were subsequently eliminated from the competition at Old Trafford, yet another embarrassment for a club in crisis.

Needless to say, portions of their fanbase were absolutely furious once the game had concluded.

Man United fan ‘John’ appeared on talkSPORT and declared his club officially dead and buried.

“Rest in peace MUFC. The club is absolutely dead. It’s dead from the top to bottom.”

“Jesse Lingard summed the club up this week when he said he didn’t ask for a few days’ rest. That just shows the players do not care about the football club, they do not care and it’s rotten, the club is rotten. The players are rotten, the Glazers are rotten.”

United have made forward strides under Rangnick, but the football is seriously uninspiring. Man United are NOT a good watch at the moment, unless you’re a rival fan.

At this point, you can understand why supporters are starting to lose faith.
