Manchester United could be sending a surprise player to Barcelona in the final week of the transfer window.
Man United have been linked with multiple Barcelona players this window, including Frenkie de Jong, former player Memphis Depay and defender Sergino Dest.
With just days remaining of the transfer window, it looks like Dest is the player that remains high on Erik ten Hag’s transfer wishlist, or so claims SPORT.
The report claims that Man United are very interested in signing Dest, and could send a surprise player in the opposite direction before the end of the week.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined Man United from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £50m. It’s safe to say that he hasn’t justified that transfer fee in his United career.
The expectation was that he would leave the club this summer, but no move has materialised. Could he now be heading to the Nou Camp in a part-exchange deal?
