TWO high-profile Manchester United departures announced in one day

Manchester United have today announced the departures of TWO high-profile members of the squad.

A major squad overhaul is required at Old Trafford in order to tailor it to incoming manager Erik ten Hag, who will be sat in the dugout from the start of next season.

There is expected to be multiple incomings and a bucket load of outgoings. The latter part has already begun today with Man United announcing two long-serving players have departed.

Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, who played together in Man United’s academy many moons ago, have left the Red Devils today as their respective contracts came to an end.

Their futures are unclear, with there being no agreement in place for either player to sign for any team, but you’d expect both to have no shortage of suitors this summer.

Pogba in particular has attracted attention from several of Europe’s top clubs. He could be one of the most high-profile movers of the summer, while Lingard is expected to stay in the Premier League.
