Pep Guardiola identifies SUPERSTAR talent to replace Arsenal-bound Gabriel Jesus

Manchester City are reportedly keen on replacing Arsenal-bound Gabriel Jesus with one of the top attacking talents on the planet.

Jesus is understood to be nearing a £50m transfer to Arsenal, with the Gunners identifying the Brazilian as the ideal successor to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Mikel Arteta worked closely with Jesus during his time as Man City assistant manager and is evidently fond of what the Brazil international brings to the table in the striking department.

As one club gain a striker, however, another club will lose one. City will have a void in the squad that they will need to fill before the end of this year’s summer transfer window.

According to Todo Fichajes, they already have a pretty clear idea of how they would like to do it, with Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix having been identified as their number one target.

Felix, whose transfer to Atletico from Benfica made him one of the most expensive buys in history, has struggled to produce his best performance level at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Pep Guardiola, though, appears confident that he will be able to extract the superstar talent within the Portuguese forward. Let’s wait and see if this transfer comes to fruition.
