Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has revealed his belief that the club are capable of winning the Champions League this season.
Man United have endured a miserable campaign to date, one which saw them SACK a club legend and appoint a man with little to no success in the managerial domain.
They are now in real danger of missing out on top four and the subsequent Champions League qualification, which could see the standards drop even further at Old Trafford.
There is a second route into Europe’s premier club competition, however, which doesn’t rely on having a strong 38-game campaign. They could win it this year.

Man United ARE still in the Champions League and while they are not considered one of the frontrunners to go all the way, Luke Shaw has the belief that they can do it.
“Of course, we’re still in the Champions League, a lot of people will doubt us, but we have to have that belief that we can go and win it because it’s important to have that inside the dressing room and to have something to fight for.”
