Romelu Lukaku did NOT look happy after giving Chelsea the lead over Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
Lukaku has been continually shunned from the starting XI in recent weeks, with Thomas Tuchel preferring the multi-dimensional Kai Havertz in attack.
Considering Chelsea have been in good form, and Havertz has been banging in the goals, there has been no reason to change that from Tuchel’s perspective.
However, an FA Cup tie against Championship opposition provided the German with a chance to shuffle his pack, which he did, bringing in Lukaku.
It took Lukaku just 15 minutes to find the back of the net against Boro, but having done so, it became abundantly clear just how unhappy he is with his current situation.
Have you ever seen a man more furious to have found the back of the net?
Here’s the Chelsea goal – just reward for a fast start!
