Romelu Lukaku is edging closer to becoming a Chelsea player. Here’s all the latest details that you need to know.
As was reported by Fabrizio Romano for the Guardian, Lukaku completed the first part of his Chelsea medical on Monday ahead of the completion of his €115M return to Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku was then spotted in the back of a black van in Milan while appearing to be holding onto a Chelsea shirt, suggesting that there’d been some photos taken for the club’s media channels.

The Belgian was spotted at an airport in Milan ahead of making the flight to (presumably) London last night to complete the move and potentially link up with the squad ahead of the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday.

For whatever reason, it appears as though Lukaku’s move to Chelsea has been delayed a little, with the Belgian having stopped off in France on his way to London.

There doesn’t appear to be any legitimate cause for concern from a Chelsea perspective. The fans will be growing impatient, but they’re going to get their man, there’s no doubt about that.
