Ruben Loftus-Cheek gave Chelsea the lead over Crystal Palace in the semi-final of the FA Cup with a thumping volley past Jack Butland.
Loftus-Cheek enjoyed what was arguably the best period of his career while on loan at Crystal Palace.
His best period in a Chelsea shirt, which was under the stewardship of Maurizio Sarri, was sadly derailed by a serious injury to his Achilles tendon.
Loftus-Cheek has been working his way back ever since, with Thomas Tuchel evidently an admirer of what he brings to the table.

After all, he was given the nod to start for Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu last week.
Loftus-Cheek was named among the substitutes this evening but was almost immediately called into action after Mateo Kovacic pulled up early on.
Tuchel, while disappointed to lose Kovacic, no doubt, will be thankful for Loftus-Cheekβs presence on the field of play, because he broke the deadlock with a fine finish!
