Jeremie Frimpong is edging closer to becoming Liverpool’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 24-year-old right-back is expected to sign his documents within the next 24 hours. The deal has been completed, and only the official announcement is left.
Liverpool have triggered the £29.5 million release clause in his contract. Frimpong will sign a five-year deal at Anfield.
Frimpong is dating Tamira Blankson, and the couple have been together for just over a year.
Tamira, 25, has around 35,000 followers on TikTok. She will follow her boyfriend once Frimpong completes his move to Merseyside.
The pair often display love for each other online. She was there alongside him, celebrating with the trophy after Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title last season.
She wrote in the comment section: “Proud of you bae.”
According to The Sun, Frimpong showed his romantic side on Valentine’s Day this year, putting on an incredible candlelit dinner for his girlfriend.

The Brunette beauty was also seen donning a Holland shirt while cheering for the defender at the Euros. Liverpool fans can expect to see her regularly at Anfield during the course of next season.
