Liverpool want to sell these TWO attackers before Monday’s deadline

Liverpool are prepared to see the back of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino before the transfer window closes on Monday, according to The Athletic.

The Reds are set to draft in Luis Diaz from Porto, one of the hottest attacking players in Europe right now.

Jurgen Klopp already has Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota at his disposal, but clearly, he is not entirely content with what he has in reserve.

Both Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino have had their moments in a Liverpool shirt, but neither have any prospect of forcing their way into the starting eleven, period.

As a result, their Liverpool careers could be set to come to an end. According to The Athletic, the club would like to move both on before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Leeds United and Monaco have been mentioned as potential suitors for £20m-rated Minamino, while Newcastle United and Atalanta are monitoring Origi.

Whether Liverpool will be successful in parting ways with both players remains to be seen, but they don’t appear to have particularly bright futures ahead of themselves on Merseyside.
