Tonightโs Merseyside derby is set to reignite a rivalry between Jurgen Klopp and Sean Dyche after the two clashed back in 2021.
The battle between Liverpool and Everton is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing games between the pair in some time, with Liverpool winless in the league since December 30th, while Everton enter this match off the back of a fantastic 1-0 victory over league leaders Arsenal two Saturdays ago.
When Dyche was boss of Burnley, one particular flashpoint between the pair came back in the 2020/21 season during a 1-0 win for the Clarets against a Liverpool side that had lost six consecutive home matches.
It happened at the halftime interval as the Burnley boss was walking down the tunnel, where he looked to have exchanged a few words with Klopp who was shouting after him.

The German said after the match that he didnโt start the argument, while also admitting it was a matter that should be looked into.
Dyche on the other hand, dismissed the concerns as not a big deal.
