Steven Gerrard has done an excellent job with the Birmingham club Aston Villa since moving there from Rangers. Now it’s been reported that the former Liverpool legend will look to sign Joe Gomez from his old club come the summer. The 24 year defender has struggled to get back into Jurgen Klopp’s team since picking up an injury.
He would be a welcome addition to the midlands club, who have already signed former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho on a permeant bases.
