Liverpool and Juren Klopp have just been dealt a massive blow with the news that their star defender Virgil van Dijk is set to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
The big Dutch defender picked up an injury while playing against Brentford on Monday night, what appeared to be a slight hamstring injury is now something that will sideline him for several weeks. This is a massive blow for Liverpool and their chances of getting into the top four.
We all know how vital Virgil van Dijk is to this Liverpool set up, we saw that a few years ago when he got injured in the Merseyside derby. Liverpool will have to get out their cheque book for January.
