Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table on 25 points with Aston Villa to come this weekend before the International break, the last break till March next year.
The Premier League is coming into the busy season with Christmas right around the corner and whoever comes through that time of year, has a great chance of winning the league.
These next few weeks will go along way in deciding the Premier League, it will separate the men from the boys and who’s ready to go the distance.
Arne Slot deserves massive credit for the job he has done with this Liverpool side, especially after the big shoes he had to fill in replacing Jurgen Kopp(The first man to deliver a league title in over 20 years at the club, a Champions League and a fan favourite on Merseyside.)
Liverpool have a real strong core to their team with two world class goalkeepers, a solid defence, midfield as good as any and Mohammed Salah who doesn’t seem to be slowing down despite being 32 now.
A lot of people thought Liverpool would be into a transition period this season and would need time under their new manager, but Arne Slot doesn’t’ see it that way and neither does the rest of the Liverpool squad.
Can Liverpool go all the way and win the league and give their fans some real celebrations on Merseyside, because as we know the last time, the celebrations were tampered due to the Covid restrictions.
I believe they can, Manchester City don’t seem to be as strong as they have been previously and are showing a real weakness. Arsenal look like their back to what they were(disappointing)
There seems to be a togetherness within this Liverpool side, they seem to be playing with a smile on their face and playing attractive front foot football.
Liverpool will hit their rough spell and it will be interesting to see how Arne Slot guides his team through that. To win a Premier League you need that bit of luck when it comes to injuries, referee decisions and various other things.
