The Liverpool manager was asked today about Steven Gerrard’s sacking and Jurgen Klopp admitted that he rang up the former Liverpool captain today to have a chat with him, about the brutal exit from the midlands club Aston Villa.

Steven Gerrard was sacked last night after not even two years in charge of the midlands club! It’s a tough business said Jurgen Klopp, hear what he had to say below;

“I can imagine it’s disappointing for him because of the things he wanted to achieve at Aston Villa. We all get knocks and it’s about how you respond. These things can happen. A lot of great managers out there had to leave clubs for different reasons. He will be back.”
