Liverpool are now in “very real danger” of losing Mohamed Salah, according to reports.
Salah, who is the best player in the Premier League and arguably on the planet right now, is out of contract with Liverpool in the summer of 2023.
As a result, the club will be left with a decision to make, should we get to the summer of 2022 and he is yet to sign an extension to his current deal.
Liverpool can ill afford to lose a player of Salah’s value on a free transfer – their owners simply would not allow it – so could be pressured into cashing in.
While no Liverpool fan wants to entertain that possibility, reports do now claim that the Reds are in “very real danger” of seeing the Egyptian walk out the door.

That’s a prospect that’ll leave fans of rival clubs wet at the mouth, with Liverpool considerably weaker without the superstar in their side – obviously.
We are still some way from confirmation that he will depart, but this is following the same pattern as the Gini Wijnaldum situation before he eventually left.
Liverpool fans would be wise to begin preparing themselves for the worst.
