Liverpool’s chances of signing Alexis Mac Allister next season have increased after the player’s father made a big admission.
Carlos Mac Allister, who is also his son’s agent, spoke to Bolavip recently to admit that he does not think that Alexis will be a Brighton player come September 1st.
“Normally the next transfer window will find him playing for another institution. We don’t know which one, we are just starting talks in general, but it is most likely that Alexis will be playing for another team next July.”
Mac Allister has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United – as reported by Fabrizio Romano – the 24-year old Argentine impressing this season for both Brighton and Argentina, with whom he won the World Cup back in December, scoring one and assisting one on the road to glory in Qatar.

With Liverpool needing a midfield rebuild and dropping out of the race for Jude Bellingham this week, Mac Allister could be a great alternative option for the Reds.
