Liverpool fans brilliantly trolled rivals Everton and former manager Rafa Benitez during their trip to Goodison Park on Wednesday evening.
Benitez has been struggling to get the engines firing since taking the reins at Everton over the summer. His appointment was not a particularly popular one in the blue half of Merseyside, with the negative results only making matters worse.
Last night’s hefty defeat to Liverpool may well have been the final straw for some supporters, with the travelling Reds fans making the most of their opportunity to pile misery on their arch-rivals.

The key difference between Solskjaer and Benitez is that the latter actually won the Champions League with Liverpool. You’d think that the fans would have a little more respect for the Spaniard.
That said, as soon as he signed along the dotted line with Everton, Benitez became the enemy. He would have known that there would be no love lost between himself and the fans who used to support him at Anfield.
