Liverpool fans have turned their backs on Mohamed Salah after a dismal performance against Leicester City.
Salah has been hailed as the best player on the planet since the start of the season, with the Egyptian’s remarkable consistency in terms of both goals and assists head and shoulders above many of his counterparts.
However, one poor performance has seen some change their tune, with Salah missing a penalty and contributing very little else as Liverpool made the trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.
We have to acknowledge that it’s only a minority of Liverpool fans who are being critical of their talisman, but it’s not often that you see ANY of them discussing his flaws over the huge amount of quality he possesses.

In truth, Salah’s performance level has been slowly tailed off for a few weeks now. Liverpool fans will be hoping that the AFCON tournament will kick him back into gear, as he looks to fire Egypt to victory.
It remains to be seen, however, whether even that’d be enough to prevent Pep Guardiola’s well-oiled Manchester City machine from winning yet another Premier League title.
