Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a deal for Porto attacker Luis Diaz.
Luis Diaz is one of the hottest properties in European football right now. The 24-year-old has been lighting up the Primeira Liga with 12 goals in 15 league appearances this campaign to date.
All due respect to Porto, you get the feeling that it’s only a matter of time before Diaz secures himself a move to Europe’s top five leagues, with Liverpool the club most closely linked with a move to sign him.
According to reports, Jurgen Klopp’s men are close to striking an agreement with Porto worth an estimated £60m, a £7m reduction on his contractual release clause.

It ought to be taken with a pinch of salt, with Liverpool already well equipped in the attacking areas and there being no dire need for any considerable investment into the squad in the winter window.
However, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane both away competing in the African Cup of Nations, you imagine that Liverpool fans would welcome a marquee addition in attack over the coming days.
