Jesse Lingard could still leave Manchester United before the January transfer window comes to an end.
Man United have been holding Lingard hostage, despite a significant amount of interest from Premier League clubs.
The Red Devils’ reported valuation of the England international, who has just six months remaining on his contract, has thus far proven to be a stumbling block.
However, that could all be set to change ahead of Deadline Day, with 90min reporter Graeme Bailey claiming that talks are back ON with Newcastle and there’s hope of a deal being reached.

Dialogue between both Uniteds has remained, whilst Lingard’s terms were already agreed.

Man United are unlikely to want to keep an unhappy player around for what remains of the season, while Newcastle are quite clearly interested in signing Lingard.
It’s in both clubs’ best interests to find a compromise that would see Lingard move to St. James’ Park before the transfer window closes.
The clock is ticking, though. They are running out of time to provide Lingard with the move that he’s been so desperately hoping for.
